EDGE Achieves Endorsement

We are proud to announce that EDGE Services has been successful in achieving endorsement from the College of Occupational Therapists for all of our people and children handling training courses.

The College of Occupational Therapists (COT) only endorse companies that are fully committed to developing key skills and confidence within the care and social care professions. They have over 28,000 members whose views they represent to Government, commissioners, professional bodies, voluntary organisations, consumers and other organisations. Needless to say we are delighted to be the very first company to achieve their endorsement.

The COT assessment found that EDGE Services key objective: to provide professional, informed and exceptional health and safety training courses, is positively achieved.

Among its many aims, the College of Occupational Therapists is focused on promoting best practice in keeping with current policy in the delivery of health and social care. The standards they set provide a consistent framework for measuring and assessing how well their affiliates are performing in terms of achieving success.

EDGE Services Founder Kate Lovett comments, ‘being awarded endorsement from the College of Occupational Therapists is an achievement of which we are extremely proud. We are delighted to have our manual handling courses affiliated with such a prestigious awarding body and being the first company to ever achieve this endorsement, we feel, demonstrates our commitment and ability to deliver quality-driven courses delivered by experienced healthcare professionals across the UK’.
