EDGE Launch Exclusive Online Resource Library and E-learning Module

These FREE services are available to staff who hold a current People or Children Key Trainer Certificate with EDGE and access is valid for the duration of their certificate (two years).

The Resources Library holds a wide range of information which our Key Trainer's can use to enhance their own learning and development and, crucially, includes a range of products; including quizzes, case studies, legal cases, crosswords etc, that they can use to make their own training courses more engaging to deliver.

The E-Learning module is designed for front-line care and education staff to undertake themselves and covers the theory component of people/children handling training. Successful completion of this module means that the Key Trainer can then focus on delivery of the practical skills. This will hopefully save time and the organisation both money and resources. The E-learning course should take staff about 60 minutes to complete and the Key Trainer will receive their colleagues’ results via the system and be able to give them feedback.

Both E-Learning and the Resource Library can be accessed via our website. Click on the Resources tab at the top right of the home page. To logon EDGE Key Trainer’s will need to enter their surname (for the avoidance of any doubt, this is as it appears on their EDGE Certificate and is case sensitive) and their EDGE Delegate ID number. This is the five digit number usually found on the bottom left of the EDGE certificate. If staff have mislaid their certificate or the ID number appears to be missing, please email to [email protected] detailing their name in full, the name of their organisation and the dates of their most recent EDGE training course. A response should then be received within 48 hours.
